Jim lives in Swansea, is married, has 3 adult children, 5 grandchildren.
His wife works at Scott AFB. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree,
Business Administration, and Master degree in Public Administration.
Retired in 1997 after serving 31 years in the US Army,
Special Forces (Green Beret) officer, Vietnam veteran.
Real Estate Appraiser, 1997 to present.
Owns Jim Wilson Appraisals, a residential real estate firm, performing
appraisals in St Clair, Madison, Monroe, and Clinton counties.
Elected and served briefly in 2014 as the St Clair Township Assessor.
Elected same year to St Clair County Board of Review (6 year term).
Hold the Certified Illinois Assessing Officer (CIAO) designation
issued by the Illinois Department of Revenue.
